Cokodok/dumpling

I made these cokodok aka dumpling kat sini. It was a ready made batter came with a packet of yeast. Rasanya cara buatnya macam roti sebab kena rest about 45-60 mins. Masa nak menggoreng (deep fry), i pakai gadget dia. But semasa makan benda ni kat rumah Nada aritu, tanya dia macam mana nak buat dia bulat2 chantek aja...dia kata tepung/batter tu kena letak dalam tangan kita and genggam/picit so that ianya keluar bulat2 thru our thumb and our pinter finger. I've tried that method, I gave up and it's messy too. By using that gadget alhamdulillah menjadik pulak. Oh ya one of my SIL (Min) can make these cokodok bulat2, really cute. She said she just use her fingers, i guess it's a skill to learn ;)
Ini lah rupanya dumpling tu...selalunya mak2arab masak ni untuk buka puasa. Sedap sprinkle with honey. Mykids loves these.

Mystyle of Steak

This is mystyle of steak with boiled carrot and potatoes. The pototoes was boiled then wrapped in aluminium foil and roast in the oven. The beef marinated with ready made sos and a little bit of crushed ginger about 30mins. Then fry for about 3 minutes (set aside the juices for the sauces later)and roast in the oven for 5 mins- done.
The sauce - butter in the pan put in about 2 tblspoon of flour , stir a fewminutes then put in the meat juices (fr frying), a little bit of water , stir , put in soya sauce(kicap manis) and grounded black pepper.

2. Sift the flour, baking power, baking soda, salt and cinnamon into a bowl. Set aside.
3. With an electric mixer beat the eggs until blended. Add the vanilla, sugars and oil. Beat to corporate. Add the dry ingredients in three batches. Mix well after each addition.
4. Add the carrots, walnuts and raisins and fold in thoroughly.
5. Pour the butter into the prepared pan and bake until the cake springs back when touched lightly. Bake for 40-50 minutes, let to rest 10 minutes, then unmold and transfer to a rack.

Frosting:
